Our Senior Management Team
Good leaders motivate, inspire, guide and enthuse others in the organisation to meet and exceed its goals. Good leaders make decisions with and for stakeholders, taking into account their needs, and they see the big picture without losing sight of the details.
As our business is family owned our Managing Director, Fergus Sheridan plays a vital part in our day to day business and our Senior Management Team elicit the best from our organisation’s most valuable asset - our human resources to serve you the client with a high standard of service at all times.

Fergus Sheridan, Managing Director
Fergus joined the family business in 1986 and the company has grown under his guidance and direction to become one of the leading cleaning and facility services companies in Ireland.
Fergus is responsible for the development and delivery of the company’s strategic plan in the most effective and efficient manner. He is also accountable for the overall performance of the company and for the day-to-day running and management of the company’s business, under delegated authority from the Board.
Fergus is still heavily involved in key client management especially in the window cleaning aspect of the business.

Alan Ward, Finance Director
Alan is a qualified chartered accountant with over 6 years experience working in practice before joining Emerald as Finance Director.
Alan is responsible for managing the financial, human resources and administrative functions of the company. This includes preparing the budget; conducting financial analysis and preparing financial reports; developing and implementing an effective system of accounting; managing the payroll system and maintaining accurate and current records.
Alan, in conjunction with the Board, assesses the long term financial trends and prospects for future growth of income and new service areas.

James Sheridan, Sales Director
As Sales Director, James is responsible for the sales function within the business with a particular emphasis on our window cleaning services to ensure that our sales objectives are achieved.
James has an extremely hands-on approach to sales and with over 30 years’ experience in the cleaning industry James has worked his way up through every level of the business. James is also responsible for increasing our client base.
James is dedicated to establishing trust and rapport with clients to maximise and generate revenues.

Ken Lyons, Operations Manager
With over 25 years’ experience, Ken has grown and developed the window cleaning and industrial cleaning aspects of the business. Ken’s expertise is in key client management and the management of cleaning projects for specialised industrial and manufacturing facilities across Ireland.
Ken also works in an advisory capacity for a number of consultancy and architectural firms prior to and during the construction phase of new developments to assist in the implementation of access routes in relation to the cleaning services requirements of each development.
Ken is also the Health and Safety Manager for Emerald Facility Services.

Lorraine Clements, Director of Cleaning
Following a career as a Detective with the Yorkshire Police Force Lorraine has spent over 27 years working within the cleaning industry, 15 years in the UK and the last 12 in Ireland, where she has held various senior management positions. Working in both sales and operations, most recently Lorraine held Managing Director status within a large international service provider with responsibilities for cleaning and security. Lorraine has brought her wealth of experience to Emerald and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company as well as the management, motivation and development of Area Managers.
Lorraine is a specialist in the mobilisation and delivery of new contracts with single or multi-site locations.

Sharon Carey, Area Manager
As Area Manager, Sharon has responsibility for a number of key accounts across a range of business sectors. Sharon is highly skilled at managing client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle, providing consultative solutions and in ensuring our performance on sites and customer satisfaction. With a loyal team of staff, Sharon ensures the delivery of a quality service to all her clients.
Sharon is dedicated to her role and a great support to her network of staff. Sharon has completed a number of industry relative training courses enabling her to support her team in their cleaning skills and knowledge.

Tomasz Belica, Area Manager
As Area Manager, Tomasz manages a number of key accounts including Government departments, hospitals, corporate offices and property management companies.
Tomasz is highly skilled in ensuring customer satisfaction through the provision of a quality service and manages all aspects of key account management from client liaison and staff management through to resolving critical issues.
Tomasz is a dedicated account manager and is available at any time to provide additional support for his clients. Tomasz has also completed a number of industry relative training courses.
