Emerald Facility Services (FS) views Quality Assurance as a major issue in every activity we do. In order to meet the specified and implied requirements of our customers we have identified key processes and developed a Quality Management System (QMS). Both our quality manual and procedures manual describes this system and also includes allocation of responsibilities for all cleaning divisions throughout the company. Our system is reviewed annually to reflect any necessary changes and to ensure the continuing suitability and improvement to the QMS. In this regard, information is gathered from;

  • Customer feedback.

  • Internal and external audits.

  • Other sources to continually improve our company’s performance.

Emerald FS Quality Management System assessors are NQA Limited under the provisions of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 excluding the design element. It is our aim to ensure that all staff understand the importance of quality in their work and fully embrace the working practices and procedures as defined in both the quality and procedures manual. We place a huge emphasis on the competence of staff and we review training needs regularly in consultation with Senior Management. Our Director of Cleaning is the appointed management representative with full authority and responsibility for compliance with our QMS and reports directly to our Managing Director on its effectiveness.
